RECOVERY / PM

Taurine

Exercise recovery · Nervous-system support · Cell hydration

Taurine is one of the most abundant amino acids in muscle and nervous tissue, studied in humans for endurance, muscle soreness and exercise recovery. RECOVERY includes 1.5 g to support the physical-recovery side of the night alongside its sleep and stress ingredients.

1.5 g

Part of RECOVERY / PM, taken at night.

Form, dose and role.

What it is
Taurine is a conditionally essential amino acid found in high concentrations in skeletal muscle, heart and nervous tissue, where it is involved in cell hydration, calcium handling and antioxidant defense.
Why ROWR chose it
RECOVERY already covers sleep and stress. Taurine adds the physical side: human research has examined it for endurance performance, muscle soreness and markers of exercise-induced muscle damage. It also fits the nervous-system and cellular-hydration work the night is already doing.
Why this form
Free-form taurine. Free-form taurine, the form used in human research, which dissolves cleanly in the RECOVERY powder.
Why this dose
1.5 g per day sits inside the 1–3 g range most commonly used in controlled human exercise and recovery research.
Its role in the system
Taurine is not a testosterone ingredient. It is here for physical recovery, neuromuscular support and cellular hydration — the part of the night that decides how the next training day feels.
